The National Innovation Alliance for the Huangjing Industry was established with the approval of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, relying on Zhejiang Agricultural and Forestry University. It is voluntarily composed of 99 relevant institutions, including key research units, colleges, and enterprises that are actively engaged in technological progress in the Huangjing industry, as well as research, development, production, and service related to development strategies, technologies, and products. In accordance with the alliance's purpose of "gathering industry strength, co-creating common technologies, leading industry development, and serving as a good advisor to the government" and the "Action Plan for Promoting the Transfer and Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements" by the National Forestry Administration, this report on the development of the Huangjing industry in 2024 is specially released to help more people understand, cultivate, and utilize Huangjing.

LY/T 2762—2024 "Huangjing" standardizes the technical requirements for the entire production process of Huangjing, including the cultivation environment, germplasm and seeds, seedling propagation, planting management, pest and disease control, as well as harvesting, storage, and transportation of the roots, flowers, tender shoots, and leaves. It is applicable to the standardized production of Huangjing roots, flowers, tender shoots, etc.
